Housing insecurity, poverty, violence, addiction, illness, accidents and isolation reinforce one another. The problem is often not ignorance; it is that help arrives late, costs too much or is divided between institutions.
Qualified conclusion
Not a perfect world.
A less inescapable one.
Agentic AI may not cure society’s ills. It may do something more useful: remove material conditions that allow many of them to become unavoidable, invisible or inescapable.
What remains will still require judgement, culture, restraint, trust and human choice.
