AI, robotics, abundant energy and advanced fabrication could make ordinary goods, energy, food production, transport, basic construction, maintenance, routine healthcare support and explanation far less scarce.
What may remain scarce
Recognition
Attention, trust, reputation, status, meaningful roles and authentic relationships.
Authority
Political influence, legitimate control, biological time, advanced compute and chips.
Freedom is not
the end of limits.
The question is whether remaining scarcity is allowed to control access to food, shelter, healthcare, safety and dignity.
