My work has included information technology, and my attention keeps moving towards what people can do with new capabilities: superintelligence, robotics, digital systems, abundance and how ordinary life might change.
I also bought the beach. That is not a metaphor; it is part of the practical, slightly improbable life this site grows out of. The work here moves between websites, guides, vehicles, public questions, family projects and experiments with machines that may one day help people live better.
Some pages are practical and some are speculative. The common thread is trying to make an idea concrete enough to use, test, inspect or argue with. Here is why I choose the word superintelligence.
