The history
From Pepper to a new generation.
When People and Robots was founded, humanoid robotics offered only a few notable platforms and demanded substantial custom software. The field now includes a growing set of more capable systems, alongside rapid advances in artificial intelligence.
The organisation’s focus remains deliberately specific: technology should not replace carers. It should help families preserve a person’s history, respond more consistently to everyday needs, and give carers space to rest and remain well.
That human element is the point. Technical excellence matters, but useful care begins with understanding how people actually live.
