This timeline is being assembled from the family archive and Google Photos. Dates and locations are shown only where the source supports them; uncertain context stays open.
The dated Google Photos timeline begins in 2002. Two additional family-archive photographs show children in outdoor scenes, but their original dates and identities have not been established. A portrait of Martin as a young child is also undated; an older class print is still being checked before it is attributed.
The same undated family portrait is also being prepared for the separate education story. Its setting has not been established, so it begins the visual timeline without assigning it to a particular year or event.

Google Photos displays both items on 12 December 2015, but that may be the scan or backup date; neither original date nor location is recorded. The children’s identities, including whether Martin appears in either image, remain unconfirmed.

Martin and Claire stand beside a pool gate and point toward a notice headed “St. James Court”. Google Photos records the image at 22:54 on 16 August 2002. No geographic location is stored, and the event context remains unknown.
An August portrait leads into a September outdoor scene, where Martin appears behind a white sculpture and a dog stands in the foreground. On Christmas Day, he sits at a table wearing a green novelty hat. Google Photos identifies Martin in all three images and records no locations.

In March, Martin stands with two unidentified companions beside a red car in Melbourne. A September portrait shows him checking his phone beneath a covered roof. In November, he stands beside commercial front-loading washing machines and a laundry basket. Google Photos identifies Martin in all three; it records a Melbourne location only for the March image.
Two photographs five seconds apart show Martin seated on a sofa talking with an unidentified companion in a living room. One catches him gesturing; in the next they face each other. Google Photos records Brisbane QLD. The companion and occasion are not identified.

A formal portrait of Martin with Beatrix Fletcher. Google Photos identifies both and records 14 April 2014 at 17:59 (GMT+10:00), with no location. The library also has an album titled “Beatrix Fletcher Formal 2012”, so the occasion date is uncertain; 2014 is the photo date shown by Google Photos.
In October, Martin stands outside a brick building with a sign reading “Jackalope Studio & Gallery”. In December, he appears in a graduation portrait with Claire Fletcher and Beatrix Fletcher, who wears a mortarboard and gown and holds a diploma scroll. Google Photos identifies all three people in the graduation portrait. Neither image has location metadata; the wider October occasion and the graduation institution are unknown.

Three scenes add to the year: a table with companions in McLaren Vale, a clear portrait beneath a sign welcoming visitors to Port Adelaide, and a late-night portrait beside a bicycle. Google Photos identifies Martin in each; the companions in April remain unnamed, and it records no location for the October night photograph.
Two late-night frames show a crowded, purple-lit room: first a view across the patrons and stage lights, then a billiards table in the foreground. Martin appears in a small inset portrait in both. The following evening, a clear portrait places him outside a shopfront in Adelaide. Google Photos records no location for the pool-hall images; the portrait is labelled Adelaide SA.
Martin took a portrait at Cheltenham Cemetery with the memorial wall and an e-bike behind him. Fifteen minutes later, he was inside a café in Adelaide. The photographs show the places, but not the reason for either stop; the café is not identified.
