A post-agentic society may contain billions of personal agents, constantly monitoring the world and making decisions in accordance with their owners' requirements. Government could become less about representing people occasionally and more about coordinating the agents that represent them continuously.
If energy, production and care become abundant, government would still need to ensure that the benefits flow on: access, infrastructure, rights, safety and the distribution of resources. Abundance does not remove politics. It changes what politics is about.
